Hisar Preschool
Global and Digital Citizenship

Our academic program actively incorporates the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through various activities and projects, our students experience and learn about critical topics such as climate change, biodiversity conservation, sustainable water usage, and social responsibility. This early awareness helps shape them into environmentally conscious individuals for the future.

Our educational philosophy extends beyond mere knowledge transfer—we aim to shape individuals who contribute to the world. Global citizenship, digital literacy, and sustainable living practices are fundamental values that must be instilled in early childhood. With this vision, we continue to nurture the leaders of the future.

In preschool education, we embrace the Common Sense approach, using technology as a tool to enhance our curriculum. While instilling digital citizenship in our students within the framework of conscious and safe technology use, we support their development as inquisitive, analytical, and ethically responsible individuals.

Global citizenship begins with an individual’s awareness and appreciation of their own culture. This understanding gradually expands, fostering interactions with diverse cultures. Our program integrates international educators and multicultural materials in classrooms, offering students various perspectives and helping them naturally embrace diversity and cultural differences in their daily lives.

Through our Hello To The World project, students connect with preschool children from different countries, sharing their cultures, experiences, and viewpoints. These interactions enhance their empathy skills, global awareness, and understanding of what it means to be a world citizen from an early age.

We prioritize students’ connection with nature and environmental consciousness as part of fostering a sustainable world. Outdoor exploration activities allow children to discover nature and engage with their surroundings, cultivating a sense of responsibility and a deep appreciation for the environment.

Our waste separation system, implemented in both classrooms and the cafeteria, is an essential practice that reinforces students’ sense of responsibility and active participation. By integrating sustainable habits into their daily routines, children internalize key environmentally friendly practices such as recycling and waste management.
