Hisar Mechatronics VEX Robotics Team

Regarded as the starting point of Hisar Mechatronics, Hisar Mechatronics VEX Robotics Club was established to support students in developing their skills in robotics and mechatronics engineering. The club provides hands-on experience in electronics, mechanical design, coding, and strategic problem-solving, offering students a strong foundation in engineering.

The VEX Robotics Competition is a strategy-based engineering competition that brings together teams from various countries. Each year, teams design and build robots that complete specific tasks according to the competition’s annual theme. The journey, which starts from regional tournaments and extends to the World Championship, begins with the engineering design process. Throughout the season, teams aim to solve challenges in the most effective way possible, immersing themselves in real-world engineering applications.

Students participating in the competition gain valuable experience by applying their physics, mathematics, and programming knowledge in practice. By pushing their own limits, they continuously strive to improve while enhancing their teamwork and collaboration skills. Through this process, they realize that engineering is not only about technical knowledge but also requires effective communication and coordination.

At Hisar Mechatronics, the VEX Robotics Competition serves as the first step for students on their path to becoming engineers. Our team has played a pioneering role in spreading VEX Robotics in Turkey, making significant contributions to the country’s robotics ecosystem. The presence of multiple teams in the same workshop fosters a strong sense of unity and cooperation, creating an environment where students support and inspire one another. The family-like atmosphere in the workshop fuels motivation and encourages students to explore innovative solutions.

Since 2017, the Hisar Mechatronics VEX Robotics Club has consistently participated in national and international VEX Robotics competitions, winning more than 25 awards in over five years. The team aims to be a model not only in Turkey but also worldwide, excelling in competitions while contributing to the broader engineering and robotics community.
