Established in honor of the 25th anniversary of Hisar School, Hisar Young Philharmonic Orchestra offers young musicians the opportunity to discover their talents for the performance of orchestral music, while at the same time aiming to instill symphonic orchestral music with listeners of all ages.

In addition to the academic competence we provide to our students at Hisar School, we create opportunities that will enable them to grow up as well-equipped individuals in all areas of life, from art to sports, from science to literature. These opportunities are valuable for our students both in terms of their personal and social development and in terms of discovering and developing their potential talents in extracurricular areas. With this vision, “Music in Hisar” includes an important part of both academic courses and student activities.

Hisar School Young Philharmonic Orchestra (HGFO), which was established in honor of the 25th Anniversary of our School in the 2021-2022 Academic Year, under the leadership of our Music Department, which has a strong and wide academic staff, is starting a new formation in Hisar. The Orchestra, consisting of professional musicians and Hisar students, under the art consultancy of the distinguished musician Faris Akarsu, offers young musicians the opportunity to showcase and develop their talents for the performance of orchestral music. The orchestra also aims to make students and listeners of all ages in Hisar Schools love symphonic orchestral music and to direct and encourage them to this branch of art.

Another mission of HGFO in this context is to inspire a wide and diverse audience with the unique experience of live symphonic music, to enrich the social life of the country while entertaining and educating them, and to enable future generations to inherit and develop this legacy.
