STEM Activities and Awards
In order to provide our students with the skills required by the digital age, we adopt the STEM education model as STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) by integrating it with art and design in an interdisciplinary approach.
Hisar Coding Summit
The 6th Edition of Hisar Coding Summit was held online this year on April 25-26, 2020. The event was organized in English for overseas participants on April 25, 2020, Saturday, and in Turkish for local participants on April 26, 2020, Sunday. ICEEBS 2020
Our 10th and 11th grade high school students were invited to the conference “ICEEBS 2020: International Conference on Ecological, Environmental and Biological Sciences” organized in Cape Town, South Africa for their projects in the field of chemistry.
Workshop on Coding Music with Sonic Pi
Our high school students held a Workshop on Music Coding with Sonic Pi as of the week of May 25. The event continued for 4-6 weeks, with sessions that took place twice a week. https://hisarcs.github.io/SonicPi/
Sustainability Award
Our secondary school students were entitled to the “Sustainability Award” at Global Social Leaders, a competition where they became semi-finalists.
Regent University of London Graphic Design, Multimedia and Interior Design Awards
Our high school students participated in international competitions held by Regent’s University of London, and represented our school successfully by winning the first prize and becoming a finalist for their projects in the category of Graphic Design, Multimedia and Interior Design. Works of each student that was invited to the event to be held at Regent’s University of London were eligible to be demonstrated at the university’s exhibition.
Face Mask and Face Shield Production
Our high school students produced face masks, a crucial need for hospitals now due to the Covid-19 pandemic, by using 3D printers sent by our School.
