Our 11th grade student, Lara S., made a presentation at the 17th international conference called “Conference on Chemistry in Drug Design and Discovery” with her project that she has been working on in the AP Chemistry course since August 2022. Lara, who was among the academicians attending the conference from all over the world as a high school student, talked about the folic acid targeted and modified liposome-based drug delivery system she designed and synthesized for the treatment of breast cancer. At the end of the conference, our student, who successfully represented our School, was entitled to receive the “Best Presentation” award for his performance. Congratulations to our student.
