Our Grade 8 students will develop projects for the benefit of Kars Boğatepe Village with the “Change Makers Development Project”, inspired by the book “The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind” they read in their Turkish lessons. In this context, our students came together with İlhan Koçulu, Asiye Cengiz and Galip Ömür from the Boğatepe Environment and Life Association. Some issues such as access to healthy food, the climate crisis and the importance of supporting village life were discussed.
“Change Makers Development Project” will be carried out in cooperation with all academic departments in Middle School, our Turkish Department, our Innovation Center and our Community Services Department. Our students will first develop projects by associating them with the message of the book, and then take concrete steps towards these projects. Student visit to Kars Boğatepe village will be held on 1-4 December 2022.
