Our Studies
Hisar School offers a comprehensive and responsible psychological counseling program designed to address the academic and psychosocial needs of every student. This program provides individual and group counseling services to support students’ personal development, identifies and nurtures different cognitive needs, and fosters career awareness through vocational guidance. Career counseling helps students develop their future plans, while classroom guidance activities and orientation programs aim to facilitate a smooth adaptation to the educational environment. Student assessments are conducted through tests, inventories, and observations to determine individual needs and provide the necessary support.
Collaboration with parents is strengthened through individual meetings, grade-level workshops, and informational sessions, ensuring a holistic approach to student support. For students with special needs, teacher support groups are established to provide individualized assistance. Teachers are supported through materials and classroom activities designed to help achieve learning goals, and teamwork with educators is encouraged to create a well-rounded support system. Information related to school counseling services is shared through school bulletins, notice boards, and the website, ensuring that the entire school community has access to necessary resources.
Hisar School adopts the Child Protection Policy, conducting preventive initiatives and implementing intervention plans when necessary. Under an open-source policy, valuable resources are made accessible through SELF, providing a broad support network for the school community. Serving students from preschool to grade 12, the Hisar Psychological Counseling and Guidance Center operates with strict confidentiality and trust principles, ensuring that students are listened to without judgment and accepted unconditionally. By promoting open and honest communication, the center fosters an environment where students feel comfortable sharing not only their concerns but any thoughts or experiences, reinforcing the message that counseling is an integral part of life.
The Hisar Psychological Counseling and Guidance Center is staffed by 16 bilingual specialists, all holding master’s degrees, who work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary framework. Student development is monitored in accordance with ethical standards, and relevant information is shared between grade levels when necessary. A key priority throughout the year is reaching every student and providing guidance tailored to their developmental needs.
Within the PreK-12 structure, the center is dedicated to supporting learning at every level, helping students develop effective study habits, and identifying growth areas to offer targeted support through structured plans. Additionally, understanding the families who play a fundamental role in shaping students’ values and habits is considered essential. Collaboration with parents is prioritized to ensure student well-being, with the aim of fostering strong partnerships that contribute to their overall success and development.
