Music

Music is seen as one of the indispensable elements of our students’ lives at Hisar Schools. Our students start their musical journey in Grade 4 by choosing one of the branches (piano, violin, classical guitar, flute, trumpet, saxophone, clarinet, vocal, or percussion) and they continue studying music until they complete Grade 8. In the high school, students have the option to take more of these instrument classes by choosing the relevant elective courses.

Our Music Department, which has a strong academic staff with many members, extends its support to nearly 200 students who perform in the school bands each year, both in their music lessons and with their efforts in the music clubs. The level of importance Hisar Schools gives to music can be seen in its physical infrastructure that features state-of-the-art professional sound studios, rehearsal rooms, instruments, and performance stages. The results of our efforts are documented with our students’ performances and the awards they receive.

Feyyaz Berker Classical Music Concerts

In 2018-2019 Academic Year, we hosted a number of musicians each more valuable than the other as part of the classical music concerts organized by our Music Department in commemoration of our school’s esteemed founder, dearly departed Feyyaz Berker.
