Our Hisar School Robotics Team, NoktaParantez, has achieved exceptional success in the 2025 FIRST® Robotics Competition (FRC), securing two of the most prestigious awards in the regional tournaments.

At the Bosphorus Regional, the team won the “Engineering Inspiration Award”, a distinction recognizing teams that inspire respect and appreciation for engineering and STEM fields within their school and community. Additionally, at the Haliç Regional, they claimed FRC’s highest honor, the “Impact Award” (formerly the Chairman’s Award), which is presented to teams that best embody the FIRST® mission, serve as role models, and create a lasting impact on society.

With these outstanding achievements, NoktaParantez has qualified to compete at the FIRST® Championship, taking place in Houston, Texas, from April 16-19, 2025.

Beyond their STEM outreach initiatives, NoktaParantez has demonstrated technical excellence in this year’s competition, ranking 4th among 186 FRC teams in Turkey and advancing to the semi-finals. Throughout both regional tournaments, the team showcased strategic gameplay, dynamic alliance collaboration, and high-level engineering skills, optimizing their performance against strong competitors.

This milestone highlights NoktaParantez’s dedication to fostering the next generation of engineers and STEM leaders. Their accomplishments reflect their commitment to promoting science and technology in the community, inspiring others through innovation and teamwork.

We proudly congratulate our students and their mentors from the Computer Science Department on this remarkable achievement. We are honored that NoktaParantez will represent Turkey on the global stage in Houston, and we wish them continued success at the FIRST® Championship!
