Our work on earthquake and natural disaster preparedness, which we think should be on the agenda of our country, continues in cooperation with the Innovation Center and Allianz Technical Earthquake and Fire Research Center. In this direction, an exploratory trip to the research center was organized on September 8, 2023 with the participation of our volunteer teachers from the Science and Social Sciences departments of our Middle and High School levels. Our teachers, who examined tools and systems such as earthquake and fire simulators and training modules, reported their evaluations to answer the question “What kind of earthquake and disaster education should we design?” while returning to school with the information they received and the experiences they gained. We would like to thank our teachers for their contributions to the training process designed in three categories as “search and rescue before, during and after the earthquake”.
