Hisar Preschool embraces the HighScope Education Model, which focuses on individual differences and needs of children, centers on active learning, and is based on scientific research. The HighScope approach aims for holistic development by emphasizing children’s self-expression, decision-making, and self-directed learning. Our Preschool Education Program, which provides high-quality education, initiated the “Accreditation” process, which will last for 3 years, in the 2022-2023 Academic Year in order to ensure its international validity. The first stage of the process has been successfully completed as of May.
Five educators and administrators from Hisar Preschool have earned their certificates by successfully completing the 8-month HighScope Preschool Curriculum Program, which is supported by scientific research and includes the latest curriculum developments, under the leadership of HighScope experts.
As our teachers’ training process continues in the upcoming stages, our Preschool program and teachers will be evaluated by the HighScope Education Research Foundation, and our accreditation process will be concluded.
We take pride in being the first and only school in Turkey to enter into the accreditation process with the HighScope Education Research Foundation based in Michigan, USA, and we believe that the accreditation process carried out with dedication by our Preschool teachers will have a significant positive impact on the academic and personal development of our students.
