The poetry and music performance, in which our middle school students performed their poetry reading, took place on Friday, May 5, with the participation of our secondary school students, at Atatürk Hall during my 6th and 7th class hours.
We know that poetry provides our students with a love of mother tongue and an artistic depth and enables them to increase their power of expression and imagination. The language of poetry is like a mirror of children’s feelings; it makes you laugh, exhilarate, sadden, encourage, activate associations and make you dream.
In our concert, we carried the poetry and music inherent in the nature of children, from their language, to the stage with poems and songs with the theme of “childhood” and we had pleasant moments together.
