Our Grade 4 students participated in a trip to the Beykoz Glass Furnace Foundation within the scope of the “Production, Distribution and Consumption” unit of the Social Studies course. Our students, who observed the raw material, properties and process of glass from production to consumption, tried to guess various designs by witnessing the stages of glass making in the hot air workshop.
Our students, who also participated in the glass fusion workshop, contributed to the recycling of glass and cheerfully designed their own plates.
