Our 8th grade students, who participated in the “Atatürk and the Balkans” trip, had the opportunity to get to know the cities where Mustafa Kemal Atatürk lived years ago by visiting the house where Atatürk was born in Thessaloniki and the Military High School he studied in Manastır. Our students also visited the cities of Ohrid, Tetovo, and Skopje, the capital of the Republic of Macedonia today, where Mehmet Akif Ersoy and Yahya Kemal Beyatlı were born and grew up.
