As Hisar School Innovation Center, we are continuing the conference series initiated in honor of the 25th Anniversary of our School, to contribute to the knowledge of our youth and society about the future, with the third conference to be held in March.
Our conference titled “Thinking Big about Agriculture” will take place on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at 18:00 on the online platform. Our guest, Tülin Akın, the founder and the board chairman of TABİT Smart Agriculture Technologies Inc. and successful entrepreneur, will discuss agriculture from many different aspects such as a profession, opportunity, lifestyle and nutrition; sharing enlightening information with our students. Our High School Geography Teacher Tolga Eldurmaz, who carries out important projects in the field of ecology at our school, will contribute to the conference and will pose interesting questions to our guest.
Our seminal conference, which will be attended by our students, graduates, parents, academic and administrative staff, will be open to all educators and the society as “Open Source” and will be broadcast live on the YouTube channel of our School. We wish to be together with all Hisar employees at the conference.

TABİT Smart Agricultural Technologies Inc. Founder – Chairman of the Board
She graduated from Akdeniz University KMYO Department of Agricultural Marketing in 2005. She founded TABİT Smart Tarım Teknolojileri A.Ş. and tarimsalpazarlama.com, Turkey’s first communication, e-learning and e-commerce network in the field of agriculture, while studying at the university in 2004. She studied Business Administration at Anadolu University and Micro MBA at Boğaziçi University.
Tülin Akın founded Vodafone Farmers Club together with Vodafone which was also implemented in India, Ghana, Kenya, New Zealand and Tanzania. She produced a farmer’s computer software supported by Intel. She realized social responsibility projects in order to raise water awareness in rural areas and to prevent tractor accidents.
Agricultural Trade Development Award from Turkish Agricultural Association in 2012, Turkey’s Changemaker from Sabancı Foundation in 2013, 2013 JCI – TOYP World’s 10 Successful Young Entrepreneurship Award, 2013 Anita Borg Institute International Social Impact Award, 2013 Garanti -KAGİDER of the Year She received the Woman Social Entrepreneur Award, nomination for the Nobel Prize in 2014 by the UN, the Schwab World’s Best Social Entrepreneur Award (2018) and the Bill Melinda Gates Foundation’s Goalkeepers Award (2018) at the World Economic Forum are some of the awards and nominations she received during her career.
Tülin Akın continues to develop different projects in order to increase the quality of life in rural areas to ensure sustainable economic empowerment, and to accelerate the social development of farmers and their families.
