“Every story begins with a journey. The hero faces change and transformation and completes the journey as a different person.”
In Grace Lin’s book “Where the Mountain Meets the Moon”, which is read by our 6th grade students, our main character Minli lives at the foot of a barren mountain and is fed up with the poverty. She embarks on a fascinating journey to ask how she will change the fate of herself and her family. From this point, we asked our students “What is real wealth?” and got different answers.
