Our school, which became a member of the United Nations Global Schools program in 2021, completed its teacher trainings on sustainability. The “Sustainability Trainings in Hisar” series, which is held in cooperation with our Innovation Center and Professional Learning Center and attended by 283 teachers, covered the topics of UN Sustainable Development Goals, Global Schools Program, and Education for Sustainable Development.
At the end of the sessions, our teachers determined the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) that could be compatible with the units and achievements in their annual plans at the K-12 level and planned activities to address these throughout the year. At our school, about 55 projects are currently being carried out at all levels, on issues such as climate, consumption, energy, life in water and on land, and reducing inequalities.
