Within the scope of our 21st Traditional Book Tree activities, our 1st grade students read the book named “Red Balloon” in their Turkish lessons. Our students analyzed the works of art in the book and conducted studies aimed at developing critical thinking and free writing skills. Then, our 1st grade students came together with the author of the book, Elif Gül Aydın, in an online meeting and they both asked the questions they were curious about the book and continued the “Red Balloon” adventure with the pictures they created.
