Azra Gür, who started her education life at Hisar School in the 5th Grade of Middle School, graduated from Hisar High School in 2012.
Azra matriculated in the Istanbul Bilgi University Advertising Department and studied in London for 6 months with the Erasmus program. At the end of her undergraduate education, she attended the Digital Marketing-Professional Studies certificate program at New York University. Having completed her master’s degree in Luxury Brand Management Department at Domus Academy Milano, Azra graduated in December 2020 with outstanding success.
Our graduate, who started her professional career at Nef Gayrimenkul and worked as a Marketing Specialist for 2 years, is now working as a “Digital Strategist” at the start-up company Bootcamp Design, which was founded in Milan and provides creative consultancy. Azra, who wants to advance in the field of brand management and digital marketing, states that she took the first steps in this way in the career meetings she attended in Hisar High School. Thanks to the consultancy she had at these meetings organized by Hisar School Turkish Universities Counseling Office, she was able to accurately identify her skills and interests in choosing a profession. With having a self-awareness regarding her future objectives, she did internships in different departments of many prestigious companies such as Garanti Bank, Elle Magazine, TBWA Istanbul, 212 Studio, TBWA Chiat Day NY, vogue.com.tr, Acun Medya, Kariyernet and Emlakjet. Along these internship programs, she worked with brands such as Bulgari Hotel Milano, Launchmetrics, Action Aid & AKQA Agency and SeeMe. Working in an area where creativity is a critical ability, Azra tells that the elective courses she took at Hisar and the community services projects she participated in nurtured her creativity and inspired her to gain a versatile perspective.
