In the series of artist-student meetings organized by our Visual Arts Department, our guest Aslı Aydemir shared her experiences with our students by going through the stages of finding ideas, production and exhibition during the online meeting.
“Ceramics is a process with unexpected consequences. Based on this coincidence, Aslı Aydemir establishes a connection with the processes of the society she lives in and tells the subjects of her work through the materials she uses. As a result of the geography she lives in, woman, ‘interests of peace” and elements of belief are among her subjects. It uses the method of molding by choosing the installation language, including ceramics.”
