Our High School 10th and 11th grade students Bora B. and Selin G. were invited to the “ICEEBS 2020: International Conference on Ecological, Environmental and Biological Sciences” conference held in Cape Town, South Africa, with their projects in the field of chemistry
Our students, with their project named as “A Study Examining the Bioaccumulation Rate of Most Common Heavy Metal Pollutants on Ocimum Basilicum and Lactuca Sativa”, research about the bioabsorption rates of cadmium, nickel, lead, mercury and copper heavy metals, and the effects of these metals on two plant types (basil and lettuce).
