Our Spanish Department organized different activities for Grade 5 and 6 students between April 15 and 20.
Grade 5 students participated in the Spelling Bee competition on April 19. During the event, 16 contestants were asked from a jury to spell a broad selection of words with a varying degree of difficulty. At the end of the competition, Ceylin Deniz G. came first, Ela İlayda E. came second and Erke D. came in the third place.
Grade 6 students read ”El Castillo Alfabético” book in their Spanish classes and then came together to read the book and discuss. During the activity, students learnt about how to explain characters, physical descriptions, clothes and learned new vocabulary in relation to their topic.
