Our middle school students and teachers went on a joyous trip to Ankara on March 16 & 17, 2018. The main objective of our trip was to unite and beat as one heart through the light of Ataturk at his Mausoleum, Anıtkabir. Our students and teachers placed their wreath on our great leader’s mausoleum with an official ceremony. Our middle school principal Betül Çoban, wrote a message to Atatürk in the official Anıtkabir memorial book on behalf of Hisar Middle School students and teachers.
Our students also had the opportunity to visit the key sites that both played an important part in the history of our Republic and in forming the historic and cultural texture of Ankara; the Museum of Ethnography, the I. Turkish Grand National Assembly Building (The War of Independence Museum), II. Turkish Grand National Assembly Building (Republic Museum), III. Turkish Grand National Assembly Building and Inönü’s House.
