Our fourth-grade students attend a lesson on “accessing information and research techniques” at our library, focusing on the topic inventions. The lesson aimed to encourage students to use their critical reading and thinking skills, to conduct a research-based process, to foster their curiosity and improve their inquiry techniques by asking questions.
The lesson helped our students to acquire skills such as accessing information from reliable and correct sources, respecting the principles of freedom of thought and academic integrity accessing meaningful information and citing them in their own interpretation and as a result of these acquisitions they took the first steps in attaining the skills to write a scientific text
