The World Francophonie Week (French National Holiday) is celebrated every March in 56 countries around the world with various activities by native speakers or French language learners who speak French as the second official language. We celebrated the Francophonie Week in middle and high school March 27-31. First, in middle school lobby, we exhibited what our French students did in our lessons all year long. For the Francophonie week, we listened to French songs and organised karaoke songs. Our students sold French-themed biscuits as a Community Services activity. In high school we organised quiz show competitions in every class. Moreover, our high school student Lara Y. sang French songs for all students and teachers. Finally, the famous French basketball player Alain Digbeu came to our school and met with students. During all these activities, our students had a great time and had the opportunity to get to know French speaking countries, French language and culture more closely.
