The Culture in One Shot Exhibition had its opening ceremony on October 13, 2015, in the the Arts and Culture Center. The exhibition is a collection of photos that reflect different cultures, people and architecture, which were taken by our high school students Zeynep Lal K.’16, Selin K.’17, Elif İ’16, Defne U.’19 and Sarp A.’17 during their trip to New York this past summer. In June 2015, they competed in the International Genius Olympiad organized by the State University of New York (SUNY) in Oswego. In July, they attended the International Art Festival organized by ICAF, which had the theme of “My Favorite Sports”.
The students are selling their artwork and all proceeds will be donated to the Turkish Cancer Foundation. At the opening ceremony alone, the students raised 2,000TL for the foundation. The exhibition will continue until November 10th and it is open to the public.
