We started to our new academic year with announcing the Middle Scholl’s Theme of the Year: PEACE.
This year our teachers will emphasize Peace in all our lessons and ceremonies.
Our students will see Peace more in our corridors, walls and boards.
Our purpose is to show our students the value of Peace for our World.
We want to make it felt not only our Middle School students but also all our Hisar Schools and community.
Thanks our dearest student Dalya K’21 for her great Peace poster which is hanged on the Wall at the Middle School Lounge area, which is such a poster that none of our students, teachers or parents can walk through the corridor with turning his/her eyes away.
This year we didn’t forget Sptember the 1st, the United Nation’s World Peace Day.
Peace were all around again in our screens and classes during that day.
United Nations established The International Day of Peace in 1981 and every on the September 21st is celebrated as World Peace Day in all countries where UN has offices and representations. The Peace Bell* on the garden in front of the UN Headquarter building in New York City became the symbol of celebration of this day.
The World Peace Day that is for calling attention for the significance of Peace and preventing conflicts worldwide was on our screens and classrooms all day.
* Note: “Peace Bell”, produced with coins and medallions those were granted by 65 UN member states in 1954, was the official gift of Japanese people to UN for the establishment of permanent peace against war. There are 19 Peace Bells all around the World an done is in Ankara Botanic Garden in Turkey.
